Saint Matthias Mission is a dual purpose Ministry of the non-denominational Communion of Christians known as the
AnteNicene Christian Fellowships.(A.C.F.)

First to Manifest the Love of the Living Christ,Jesus, through ministering to those in need within our community and;
Secondly, to facilitate the spiritual maturing of the "Church", the Body of Christ,through our "Christian Edification Center" to the Greater Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is our Prayer to be used by Almighty God to further His Plan for humanity one person at a time. Saint Matthias is here to serve those most in need of the evidence of God's Grace,Mercy and Love and to nurture the Hunger of the Body of Christ to know and love Him more each day. We serve without question and edify without consideration of denomination, for there IS only One Holy, Apostolic, Catholic(universal)Church that is the Body of Christ.

If you are looking for a "Faith home" for you & your family we invite you to come and visit with our Community of Faith in Christ. We do not try to be "all things to all people" just  guides to He who IS (whether they know it or not), The Lord Jesus Christ. We are Real Peopel, Living Real Lives, with Real Faith in Jesus Christ, Together. We are not perfect and we are all, always, in need of the Blessed Mercy and Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Come join with us in believer's fellowship and worship of He who Is Able to Save.

Saint Matthias also serves as the "hub" for a growing "House Church" Network within our community seving the needs of those who adhere to Christianity but are "put off" by "Churchianity". We facilitate the solid understanding and growth of the "restorive" New Testiment Church and the actual community of Christ, so longed for by the faithful, in today's world.

The Agape Store House is the Food Bank and Emergency Needs dispursment center of Saint Matthias Mission. The Agape Store House is entirely dependent on the Grace of God made evident by the contributions of His faithful.

We provide assistance to those in need with out regard to "church affiliation" and with out "qualification" beyond the stated need. We shall act as directed by Jesus Christ. If those who are blessed to recieve that which we provide in the Lord's Name are less than "honorable" we pray that the Holy Spirit will move upon them to convict their spirit as to move them to the Lords eternal Love.

We are in constant need of canned foods, dry goods, clothing, bedding (Blankets/lenen) good household furniture, and funds for those items that can not be stored.

If you have any of these items and are willing to donate them to the furtherance of the ministry of the Lord or are willing to provide even the smallest amounts of food items and/or funds to this charity ministry on a continual basis it would be greatly appreciated. And let us assure you that every item or cent will go to the futherance of this ministry. The staff of Saint Matthias Mission are all volunteers and do not recieve payment for their personal contribution of time of service to this ministry.

Christian Edification Center

The "Christian Edification Center" is a Ministry of Discipleship and further Edification of the community of Christ.
Saint Matthias offers ongoing studies in the faith ranging from general studies of the Scripture to contemporary topical and Life Application Bible studies. It is our hope to soon offer Professional Diploma Courses and Accredited Degree Courses in Biblical Studies, Ministry, Apostolic (Early Church) Theology and many more areas of study of interest to the Spiritual growth and daily ministry of all Christians. It is our goal to strengthen the faithful through knowledge and we will always strive to ensure that all our courses/classes are made available either free of charge (donations are always welcomed) or at the lowest possible cost to the participants.

Mission Staff

All Mission Staff are volunteers. The Ministers of the AnteNicene Christian Fellowships are initialy of the "tent maker" tradition  of the New Testament and are not paid by the "church" until such time as their work load in service to Our Lord justifies sustaining compensation. It is by the Grace of God that the Mission is able to operate and those volunteer staff do so out of service to the Lord Jesus Christ and there fellow man.

Mission Director: Rev.Brother Eric Thomas

RvBr. Thomas is the founding minister of Saint Matthias Mission and A.C.F. Missionary for the Dioceases of East TN. He is married to Alexandra Thomas for 18+ years and togehter they have three children, two sons Brant (17) and Steven (14) and one daughter, Jessica (12).
RvBr Thomas brings to the Mission his many years of organizational and educational skills, a deep love of  Theological & Ante-Nicene (Early Church) studies and a staunch dedication to service to the Lord Jesus Christ and a Loving compassion towards his fellow man.

Assitant Director: Rev. Br. Jason Crowder:

Rev. Br. Crowder is married to Adi Crowder and expecting their first child any day.(Nov '04) Rev. Br. Crowder brings to the Mission his extensive knowledge and experience in Music Ministry, drive for Youth Outreach and a passion for enabling the Church to boldly confront the reality of the spiritual realm (Parapsychology) within our existance.

Mission Administrator: Alexandra Thomas

Alexandra is the wife of Rv.Br. Thomas and a gifted and able administrator for the A.C.F. Her years of experience and excellence in the administration and financial management fields have won her a well deserved reputation of prudent and honorable professionalism. Alexandra is the "hidden blessing" of God to Saint Matthias Mission.
