Diocese of Saint Matthias the Apostle - C.E.E.C.

Patristic Faith, Anglican Expression

ANNOUNCEMENT

As of February 28th, 2009 the ecclesiastical jurisdiction known as the Ante-Nicene Christian Church has been formally received into the Province of Saint Peter- Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches, an international Anglican Jurisdiction. Accordingly this website the former web home of the A.C.C. has temporarily been renovated to denote the afore mentioned change in our collective ministry. Over the next few (2 or 3) weeks a new Diocesan website will be developed and launched at which time the current sight will be devoted to the promulgation of the "Ante-Nicene"/ "Patristic"/ "Primitive Catholic" perspectives in the faith.

Within the broader body and from all spectrums of the same, there is currently a growing conversation regarding the essentiality of the "early church" perspective of the faith with an increasing desire among the body catholic for the eventual development of some vehicle, consortium, convocation, conference etc. that will further the collective acceptance of the foundational orthodoxy and orthopraxis of the Christian Faith within the body catholic. This Diocese and its many ministers, Parishes and Mission communities is committed to being an integral part of this ongoing discussion within the Body of Christ.
